Thalapathy Vijay is currently one of the biggest superstars of Indian regional cinema and his commands an enviable fan following from toddlers to senior citizens. He has been pretty vocal against the prevailing political systems in his recent films that have the ruling parties both in the central and state irked.
There have been rumours that Vijay’s father S.A. Chandrasekhar is joining the BJP soon which he denied a few days back. Now pressmen posed the same question to SAC who shot back in Tamil “You don’t like me being alive?”
The veteran director then made it clear that he is not going to join the national party and he has no necessity to do that as he has his own organization the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam which will be converted into a political party when the time is ripe. He also added that when the people call for it the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam will be a formidable force in the political arena.
