Brad Wilk, the drummer of Rage Against the Machine, is now on the real estate beat. He’s listed the Santa Monica, CA, home he owned with his estranged wife, Selene Vigil-Wilk, for $6.5 million.

The couple, who have been married since 2005, are reportedly in divorce proceedings.

That leaves their lovely European-style estate, built in 2004, up for grabs. The couple picked up the home in 2005 for $3.5 million, realtor.com® records show.

Completely secluded behind a gated entry, the updated five-bedroom, six-bathroom floor plan covers 6,138 square feet and is just blocks from the beach.

The entry has high ceilings and leads into a light-filled interior, with refinished walnut floors, Italian travertine marble, wrought-iron detailing, and custom lighting.

The 52-year-old musician co-founded the band Rage Against the Machine. He has also played with the supergroup Audioslave, and toured with Juliette Lewis’ band. Vigil-Wilk was lead singer for the band 7 Year Bitch.
